empty bed syndrome
Single people have an over-abundance of ways to meet others: Online, singles events, speed-dating, match-making services... And it can give us a false sense of "I've got it made!" (so many of us fall into the mindset of thinking all will be good if we just meet the "right" person.) Well, what if you meet the right person but she doesn't think you're right for her? You finally meet someone attractive and intriguing without too much baggage and it STILL doesn't work? Maybe the problem exists within how you're presenting yourself. Bottom line is that simply putting yourself out there (online or otherwise) does not guarantee your success. You must make sure you are exhibiting AND LIVING the qualities you're hoping to attract. Sometimes it's worth it to have a third-party opinion/assessment (moms and drunk buddies don't count btw.) What are the women thinking but not telling you?
